At Living Hope we believe in a simple church model of ministry. We do not desire to be all things to all people, but rather to concentrate our time and efforts on those areas that most effectively grow the kingdom of our Lord and Savior. This means that much of our focus is devoted to our weekly Sunday morning corporate worship service and to a variety of small groups that meet both in neighborhoods and at our facility, The Gathering.
Our ministries are best described as:
Inward focused ministries
Outward focused ministries
Inward Focus:
Our inward focus at Living Hope is to meaningfully and effectively minister to families. This family orientation drives our philosophy of ministry.
For example, we recognize that God has called parents to be the principal educators and disciplers of their children. Rather than attempting to replace or to be independent of the parent’s teaching, our desire is to come alongside the parents, to strengthen our families, and to provide training and resources to assist parents in fulfilling God’s mandate. This means that we earnestly desire the active participation of parents in both our children’s and youth programs.
Children with a Hope - At Living Hope we recognize how precious our children are. During our services we offer nurseries for infants and toddlers and age-specific classes through grade 6. We also welcome you to keep your children with you in the service if you prefer. Read more »
Youth with a Hope - Our youth are the hope of tomorrow. Teens are very active in serving in our church and enjoy time with adults and with their peers during the mid-week youth meeting at the Gathering. Read more »
Small Groups - The purpose of our small groups is help each of us: 1) love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind and 2) love our neighbors as ourselves (Mt. 22: 37-38). We demonstrate love to the Lord with a living encounter with God’s word as we seek to apply it to our lives. We demonstrate love to each other through fellowship, accountability and support. Outward Focus:
Our focus is outward as we share the love of Christ with our friends, neighbors and the world.
