Following Christ as His disciple involves daily living out of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), and following the Great Commandments (Matthew 22:37-39) with purpose and passion.

At Living Hope Community Church, discipleship is a major focus, as reflected in our Mission Statement: Followers of Jesus Christ committed to truth, love, and obedience to the glory of God.

Jesus calls His 21st Century disciples into relationship with Himself, asking them to count the cost (Luke 9:23-24 and Luke 14:26), and to follow His lead.

Living Hope Community Church offers small group discipleship experiences designed to enhance the development of our relationship with Christ. The structure of the small group is designed to foster personal daily worship, prayer and Bible study with the goal of developing a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus. Group interaction is an integral part of the LHCC discipleship experience, as it was when Jesus Himself walked the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Discipleship classes are offered to provide structure and to encourage those who choose to participate in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere. The discipleship team, made up of several men and women who are committed disciples of Jesus Christ, teach the weekly one-hour classes over 13 consecutive weeks. Class participants are asked to faithfully attend, pray for one another, strive for daily consistency in God's Word, prepare and give a personal testimony, and to learn the LHCC Mission Statement.
